Spiderman had it Easy.

5 09 2008

Anyone who wished for a spider bite to try and get super powers. Let me tell you, ITS NOT WORTH IT!.

I recently had a run in with some spiders that decided to my leg looked like a wonderful thing to chew on. Let me tell you that its a slow, unfomfortable and messy process to heal from it. So if you happen to think you might get super powers from a spider bite, I can tell you that it won’t give you anything but days of frustration.

I’m Alive!

20 05 2008

Well I have finally kicked the bug entirely. It was crazy and unpleasant. Every time I though I had gotten past the bud it would come back again and knock me back down. Thankfully I’ve learned the power of medication for when you are sick and I’ve finally gotten over whatever that bug was.

I’m spending some time thinking and trying to re-evaluate where I amm and where I’m going. I’m working ons pending some time on Animation and programming, but even more I’ve been thinking about my larger goal of space travel.

I’m not sure how I’m going to meet that goal yet, but I’m spending a lot more time thinking of it lately and I think its getting closer to time that I dust off OFSEAC and make another attempt. People are starting to get ready for a change. It could be they are more geared to that direction now than they were before. We’ll have to see.

Slow Road to Recovery

31 03 2008

Its taking some time, but I think I have finally crossed over the hump of this sick. I’m at work and feel mostly normal aside from being a little tired (Didn’t sleep well last night) and having a raspy voice and cough.

Hopefully thats a good sign.,

I hate being sick.

26 03 2008

I’ve been sick for a while now. And I can honestly say I hate being sick. I hate it very much.

Lost in a Room with Chronic Insomnia

12 03 2008

Insomnia is one of the hardest conditions to make people understand when you are afflicted by it. the most common response to it is that the person should try going to bed earlier. Or that they should try and work out. While this can often assist with mild cases of insomnia where the individual doesn’t often suffer from it, more severe cases like individuals who suffer from it Chronically often find themselves trying to explain that those things often don’t help. They certainly make the person more tired thant hey already are, but for whatever reason they still either can’t get to sleep or sleep the whole night through.

Fallout 3 Gets a Release Date

10 03 2008

After a lot of interest has been brewing on the new Fallout game, its been hard to find a lot of information. Bethesda Softworks has been very hush, hush on the game. However they have finally given us a confirmed date of release.

Rockville, MD - April 1, 2006 - Bethesda Softworks® today announced that the highly-anticipated role-playing game, Fallout® 3: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game, will be available in stores in North America and Europe during the week of July 17. Fallout® 3 will be available for Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC in both regular and collector’s editions.

“Our most ambitious project ever is nearing completion,” said Todd Howard, executive producer of Fallout® 3. “We’re excited to get the game into everyone’s hands and let them experience it for themselves. We hope they enjoy it. I think it’s our best game yet, even better and more exciting than Oblivion”

Fallout® 3 is an epic, open-ended single-player RPG for the next generation providing gamers with one of the most life-like gaming experiences to date. The powerful combination of unprecedented graphics and freeform gameplay allows gamers to unravel the main quest or explore the vast world at their own pace. Fallout® 3 is the third chapter in the award-winning Fallout® series that was originially published by Interplay Entertainment Corp®.

So now we only need wait until July 17th to sink out teeth into this new rendition of the Post-Apocalyptic world dreamed up for the Fallout Universe. I’m excited for this release, but also frustrated for waiting. Thats two major games I’m really waiting for to be pushed to the end of this year for release. At least the Waiting is almost over.

ISP Wars, the Continuing Saga pt3

7 03 2008

And so the battle continues. My day at home comes. I’m told that the technician will arrive sometime between 8am and 5pm so I need to be there. After informing my employers that I’ll be out I proceed to sit down and wait. I work on unpacking a small bit and I play a little bit on my offline computer. Mostly I just waste time and plan out what I’ll take care of when the technician finishes. I assume I won’t see him until 5:00pm because most times that is just how it works out. Hours roll buy and I have no sign from the technician. I’ve had bad experiences with scheduled appointments never making it to the schedule so I call the group about now, spend another hour on hold and double check that I am indeed scheduled to have a technician come by today. Fantastic.

ISP Wars, the Continuing Saga pt2.

7 03 2008

Most of us in this day and age spend a considerable amount of time online. Shopping, socializing, and researching to name a few activities. It has become a cornerstone of American society in many ways. With this fact being true, I find it curious how in a major city it can be so difficult for someone to get their service
installed. For example, this post took several days to finally get posted here. I actually wrote it several weeks ago, but was unable to post it because I have moved across country to the Chicago Suburbs and find myself fighting tooth and nail to get my Internet installed. Not only is there a limited selection of technologies to use, most of which are what would be considered first generation broadband technology. But when I finally decided upon a service, it has been a nightmare just to get it activated.

Quote of the Day

7 03 2008

Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, “Where have I gone wrong?”/ Then a voice says to me, “This is going to take more than one night.”
